  • Challenge:

    In 2008, Zachry realigned itself into two organizations, Zachry Holdings Inc. and Zachry Corporation. For more than six decades, Zachry shared news with its employees, families and friends through various versions of an internal publication. So, when Zachry Holdings and Zachry Corporation were ready to continue publishing, they looked to KGBTexas to help launch and run Zachry Force Report and Zachry Advantage.
  • Strategy:

    KGBTexas’ publications team – in partnership with Zachry Holdings’ employee relations department – helped create the Zachry Force Report, a bimonthly, bilingual publication sent to more than 16,000 employees. KGBTexas worked with the publication’s designer to develop a masthead, redesign the magazine and write articles targeted to current, recent and retired employees, customers and suppliers.
  • Working with Zachry Corporation’s public affairs department, KGBTexas helped design and manage the company’s inaugural issue of Zachry Advantage, a quarterly internal publication. KGBTexas provides turnkey services for the publication, from running the editorial board meetings, helping to select the story calendar, writing and editing all articles, facilitating necessary approvals, designing the publication and proofing the issues.
  • Results:

    Informal interviewing of employees from both organizations has generated overwhelmingly positive feedback of the new publications. Readers confirm they enjoy the content and format of the publications. They have become key marketing tools for Zachry Holdings and Zachry Corporation.
