San Antonio is a growing city with the typical growing pains affecting transportation, infrastructure, green spaces, etc. And accommodating growth – along with general upkeep and improvements – costs money.

San Antonians love their city and are usually generous in supporting it. However, the bond initiative presented in 2017 was nothing like they had seen. Truly. The historical package contained a whopping $850 million that would affect every part of the city. Adding to the challenge, the election ballot was also loaded with candidates running for local offices. Our bond communication and public affairs campaign had to stand out to be heard.

Could we develop a vibrant brand and strategic messaging that would get San Antonians to vote yes for the historic bond? Yep, we could and did.

Voters overwhelmingly approved the bond, helping to make sure San Antonio continues to be a Top 10 city.
